Why Are You Seeing Green-Underlined Words/Links On BLABBERMOUTH.NET?

June 8, 2007

BLABBERMOUTH.NET has received several questions about the green-underlined words/links which started appearing on some of the pages on the site a week ago. If you hover your mouse cursor over these words, you will see a small window pop up. Contained in these windows are a variety of different targeted advertisements that may contain video, relevant information, or even definitions and in-depth information about that particular word or phrase.

We chose to partner with Vibrant Media and utilize its IntelliTXT technology so that we can bring in additional revenue and help keep BLABBERMOUTH.NET alive. It's the users' choice whether or not they view these advertisements. In other words, you do NOT have to see these ads if you don't want to — simply don't hover over them. However, keep in mind that every time you view one of these targeted advertisements, you are supporting BLABBERMOUTH.NET and helping to make it possible for us to continue offering this free service for many years to come.

IMPORTANT: IntelliTXT is integrated on the web site you're visiting and not your computer. This technology does not collect personal information or require any form of software to be downloaded to or uploaded from your computer.

Bottom line: If you want to support BLABBERMOUTH.NET, please mouse over as many a double-underlined words or phrases to display a "Tooltip" containing a relevant advertiser description. For further information, click inside the "Tooltip" to go to the advertiser web site.
